Ocho is what I call this gelding. I bought him as a weanling ,raised and broke him. I've been riding him for two years now. I have picked up on him in the Rodeo Arena Cleared the pen Roped and drug bulls. I have roped and handled lots of hefiers having problems calving in the pastures. He has tons of cow in him. I have roped some steers in the practice pen on him . calm in the box either side. Last winter my daughter needed a horse to run barrels on in a Buckle Series at Jonesboro College so I let her ride him. She won the Youth 3-D Buckle and the Open 4-D Buckle in a 6 Race Series. She was only loping them and not pushing him. He has tons of speed and you can take this colt and make him what ever you want. Very calm to handle. shoe, shear, bathe etc...He has lots of Flash and Ability He runs 21 second poles. You can truely do anything on this colt. He isn't for unexperienced riders, but if you can ride you can do anything on this horse from cut cows from a herd to team penning roping heads or heels run a very respectable set of barrels or poles or do any performance race you want. The more he is riden and used the better he gets daily. I enjoy riding colts and am ready to start another one so I need to sell Ocho. Spring is just around the corner get him now and be ready to win when the weather breaks This horse has lots of speed and very athletic but isn't for the beginning rider, He's always paying attention and ready to respond to the slighest que. takes foot ques really well and can read a cow. He's not a cutting horse but is pretty fair at pasture cutting they'll not get past him unless you let them. He'll run past a cow and then turn them or he'll stay on thier hip all day to let you rope them. He won't duck off after you throw your loop. This horse does what you ask him to. I don't know that he'll ever be a kids horse because he's so quick to respond to a que or rein. This horse will work all day then be ready to go to the Rodeo Pen to finish his day.
